Education is still a huge part of our mission, so while we no longer travel, we do offer private tours for those that want to experience the animals and the sanctuary in person.

    Really neat animal. Has rough hairs on back to protect soft belly! Feels like a hairbrush! Larger than pygmy hedgehog.

    Slightly larger than your average guinea pig, with coarser fur. Very sweet, fun animals!
